Abigail Rebekah Kohrs

Abigail Rebekah Kohrs, 35, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 27, 2024 at home in Chatham, NY.

She is survived by her mother, Gail Hinkel, father, Frank E Kohrs III; brother Timothy J. Buchan (Jamie), Jeremiah Kohrs (May), Dr. Joshua J. Kohrs (Kristen); sisters, Elisha Kohrs (Mark) and Annabelle Wold (Christopher), and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

After high school Abigail worked as a carpenter, caretaker, arborist, and landscaper. She continued landscaping, horticulture, as a videographers assistant, painter, house manager and taking care of many animals. Her love of animals was intense.

She was a gifted musician and singer, artist and photographer; played at Open Mics and attended every music festival available. She also hosted a radio show WBXC 90.7fm.

She loved people, family, friends, pets, horses, flowers, travel, music, laughter, food, dancing, oceans, sports and nature.

She was loved by all who knew her. She loved Chatham dearly and will be missed.

There will be calling hours at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home Saturday, January 4th from 4 to 6pm.
