Mrs. Anne M. Hill, age 65, of Newark, DE, died peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Hill was born in Chatham, NY on April 11, 1942, daughter of the late William Daley and Agnes Grady Daley.  An accountant by profession, she was employed with Brannon and Associates in New Castle, DE for 38 years.  She worked as an antiques dealer for many years, with particular expertise in vintage postcards. She was also employed at the Homeward Bound Shelter for 10 years.   Mrs. Hill enjoyed sewing throughout her life and was accomplished in solving sudoku puzzles.   She was devoted to animals—especially cats.   She is survived by 2 children, Jo Ellen Shimp (Wayne) of Wilmington, DE; and Brian Hill of Dover, DE; brother, Edward Daley (Peg) of Norristown, PA; 3 grandchildren, David Hill, Jessica Shimp and Emily Shimp; a great grandson, Jason Shimp; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 8:30 AM to 10 AM on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, NY.   Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at St. James R.C.
