Arthur M. Fuss Born January 28, 1936, in Ghent, NY passed away peacefully, in the loving care of many, in the comfort of his own home on February 7, 2024.He was predeceased by his parents Phillip M. and Zefferina M. Gardina Fuss. He is survived by his brother Phillip R. (Louise)Fuss of Manahawkin, NJ., two nieces and two great nephews and one great niece. Art Graduated from Chatham Union School in 1950. He was drafted and served two years in the US Army. Stationed in Germany and Texas, in Texas he met Elvis Presley a couple of times. Art worked at The Match Factory and Sonoco Crellin. He was a life member of the Ghent Fire Department, a past chief and had served for over 50 years. He had accomplished the Department of Transportation with his aviator's license. Art had a great love of planes and was part of the Kline Kill Airport for many years. He enjoyed building, fixing, and flying them. His favorite passion was cutting down trees and making household furniture, unique bowls, lamps, roll top desks, tables, chairs, coffee tables and stands. Art was buried in the Ghent Union Cemetery.
