Brent E. Gawron passed away suddenly on May 13, 2023. Born May 22, 1988 in Pittsfield MA., he was the son of Allan and Wanda Whiteman Gawron.

Brent grew up in North Chatham and was a graduate of Ichabod Crane Schools. He received his Associates Degree from SUNY Cobleskill in the John Deere Program in Ag Maintenance and worked at Davis Tractor during school. After graduating he went to work for NYS DOT and then to the NYS Thruway Authority and was currently a Supervisor.

Six years ago he met Erinn Kennedy, fell in love and they would have two children, Lucy and Penelope. Together they enjoyed their time as a family. He enjoyed motorcycles, working outside and fire service where he is the current Chief of the North Chatham Volunteer Firemen's Association.

He is survived by his wife Erinn Kennedy, his daughters Lucy and Penelope, his parents Wanda and Allan, his brother Brad (Shannon), his grandmother Lynnette Warner (Bob) and many aunts, uncles and cousins, his firefighting family and his buddy Izzy.

Family will receive friends at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home on Friday May 19th from 3 to 7pm. Services will be conducted Saturday, at the funeral home at 10am with interment following at the North Chatham Cemetery.
