Carol Weir, age 72, died at her home in Chatham, NY on January 8, 2011.  She was the beloved wife of Ray Weir and was the loving mother of Danielle, Scott and Gina, and beloved grandmother of Benjamin, Joshua, Mia and Juliette.  She had a successful law practice and teaching career, and also was a published author and apple farmer.  She traveled the world and especially loved to visit Israel. She was a member of the Chatham Synagogue.  The funeral was held at French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home in Chatham, NY on January 9th, 2011.  Internment followed at the Chatham Rural Cemetery in Chatham, NY.
