Obituary

Carole A. Celentano of Ghent passed February 15, 2013 at Columbia Memorial Hospital, born August 31, 1934, in Queens, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Keating Nizzari. She met and married her husband, Salvatore (Bud), who pre deceased her. After their marriage they moved to Columbia County, where she raised her family. She was a secretary for the Ockawamick School until she retired in the late eighties. She enjoyed knitting, boating especially on Lake George, she liked visiting her parents at Tonetta Lake Park , vacationing and traveling,  but her best time spent was with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Keith (Dorothea), Carolyn (Rick) Boice and Lynn (Dwayne) Hotaling, her sisters; Joan Molnar-Becht and Betty Holmberg, her grandchildren; Kristen Mellan, Meaghan Todd, Nadeane Boice, Sierra, Dylan, Jensen, Trey and Sage Hotaling. She was pre deceased by her husband, Salvatore (Bud), her daughter, Caryl and her son Charles (Chuck). Family will receive friends at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, Tuesday,  February 19th from 8:30 to 10:30 am there will  be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Novitiate in Round Top at noon.
