Chuck was born on June 3rd 1941 in St. Louis, MO, attended St. Mary's High school and graduated from the University of Puget Sound. Chuck had a passion for music, family and travel. It is a rare person whose history includes seeing the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and when Bob Dylan went electric. His early adult years were spent celebrating the music scene in Greenwich Village. He served in the US Air Force from 1967 thru 1970. They moved to Chatham in 1973 and felt an immediate connection to their newfound home and community. He was a successful Financial Advisor at RBC Wealth Management in Pittsfield, MA. Chuck was also a dedicated member to the Chatham Lions Club, had been involved in the early stages of Crellin Park and a member of the Alan Devoe Bird Club. He had a unique, vibrant outlook on life and was loved dearly by his family and friends. The world has lost a very warm, light that illuminated the lives of so many. He will be missed. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Ellen (Zeitlin); his son, Mark, and daughter-in-law, Amelia (Burkhart) of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA; and his son, Colin, and daughter-in-law of Erin (Bradley) of Newburyport, MA.
