Charles
E. Kipp died June 25th at the Kings Harbor Nursing Home. Born October 8, 1931
in the Bronx, Charles was the son of the late Ralph and Eleanor
Moebus Kipp.
He
was educated in the Bronx and graduated from Mount Saint Michael High School as
did his sons. He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954.
Charlie
was very dedicated to the Aquinas Council 757 Knights of Columbus. He was a
Past Grand Knight, A member of the bowling league, an awesome pitcher for their
softball team. He held many positions in
the council. Aside form the Knights of
Columbus he also enjoyed fishing.
He
is survived by his two sons; Edward (Michelle) of Newburgh, NY and Stephen
(Erica) of Scarsdale, NY, His daughter Patricia (Luis) of Fresh Meadows, NY,
his five grandchildren; Natalie and Brittany Diaz, Taylor, Shaun Vincent, and
Dylan Kipp.
Family
will receive friends Tuesday June 30th at the Castle Hill Funeral
Home, 1528
Castle Hill Avenue, Bronx,
NY from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday
in Holy Family Church at 10am.
Interment will follow at the Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
