Christine Elaine Benton of Chatham , NY passed away peacefully at Ghent Rehab on July 28, 2020. Born September 25, 1948 in Cortland, NY she was the daughter of the late Jack and Martha Warren Flaig. Christine is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bruce Benton of Chatham, daughters, Yvonne L. Dellea of Fl., Brenda Gilbert of Chatham, Son Kevin M. Martin (John Parker Jr.) of Canaan, stepchildren, April Meredith (Jon) of Kinderhook, Heather Casey (James) of Valatie and Megan Russ of Chatham, her one special granddaughter Alexandra Gilbert of Chatham along with ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, and her sisters, Suzy Attendorn (Joseph) and Claudia Kuzmiak.. She will be missed by all who loved her. Calling hours will be Friday July 31st. from 2-4pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home.
