Cody Costa

Cody Costa was born March 31, 1990, in Poughkeepsie and raised in Hyde Park NY. He passed away suddenly on October 29, 2024, in Hudson, New York.

He is a local Man, amazing father, son, husband, brother and uncle. It is with deepest pain he leaves his family so young and unexpected. Cody always enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing even since he was a young boy. Opening day was always a day Cody looked forward to going fishing. A tradition started since it was the day after his birthday, a tradition he carried on with his children. Cody was a momma's boy for sure and made sure he called her daily. Cody was a sensitive man and would give the shirt of his back, even if it was all he could give. He cared for his wife Dani Elizabeth (Colwell) Costa with all of his soul and she is his gift of greatness, along with 3 amazing children that he adored and lived life for Madison(age 9), Eric(age 5), and Ava(age 3). Along with his own core family he watches over his Mother Kim Emery, 2 older sisters Debralee Cevallos, Fallon Costa and 2 younger sisters Cheyenne O'Connell and Madalyn Emery along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
