Colby A. Hills

Colby A. Hills passed away on November 23, 2021 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He was born August 10, 2001 in Troy, NY the son of Donald H. Jr. and Jodi Lemack Hills. Colby lived in Ghent and graduated form Chatham Central Schools in 2019. Upon graduation he went on to SUNY Polytechnic in Utica. He was a junior there studying Computer Science. Colby was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in 2010. While this affected him he would not let it define him. He went on to live life to its fullest. Colby loved dancing which he showed at his bar mitzvah in September of 2014. Everyone who attended enjoyed and danced the night away. In high school he played and enjoyed varsity volleyball with his friends and playing video games like Minecraft and Zombies and many others. Colby loved his friends and family and would do anything for them. Colby is survived by his parents, brother, Robert (Shan) Hills of East Greenbush, grandparents, Bernice Lemack and Elaine and Donald Hills Sr., many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Edward Paul Lemack. The family will receive friends on Friday November 26th from 10am to 2pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham.
