Constance L. Herron of Hillsdale, NY passed away January 25th in Pittsfield, MA. Born June 20, 1933, in Great Barrington, MA. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Augusta Wollny Herron. She grew up in Hillsdale and graduated from Roeliff Jansen Schools and then the College of St. Rose. Constance went on to become a Carmelite sister and would receive her second Masters Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit MI. She worked at St. Patrick's Home in NYC, later leaving the order and going to work at the Bronx Children's Hospital as a social worker and later as an Information Coordinator. She is survived by her brother Leroy B. Herron, Jr., her sister Patricia Marangine of  N.Tonawanda, NY, her nephew Steven Beningo of Derwood, MD, her niece Dr. Karyn Beningo of Niagara Falls, NY and several cousins. There will be a calling hour at 9am, on Friday, January 31, at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, NY.
