David V. Carl of Claverack passed away November 1, 2018 at his home. Born April 8, 1956 in Great Barrington, MA., he was the son of the late Harry and Maria Cantele Carl. David was a lifetime member of the Philmont Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Mellenville Fire Company, Assistant District administrator of the District 15 Little League, a Yankee fan and an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife Leslie (nee Coughlin), his children; Kelly (Matthew) Nolan of Stowe, MA, and Ryan (Christen Lill) of Mellenville, his grandchildren; Parker and Elliot Nolan, Jackson Carl and Mackenzie Vigue and his sister Deborah Neal of Catskill. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 5th at 9:30 am in Saint James Church, Ghent, NY.
