David D. Moran

David D. Moran passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer on July 23, 2016, at St. Peter's Hospice. Born May 16, 1944, in Troy, New York, he was the son of the late George and Electa McIntyre Moran. He grew up in Chatham, and graduated from Chatham High School. David joined the Army, and then spent many years working for NYSEG. In his later years, he lived in Averill Park, and was a self-employed electrician and plumber working throughout the Capital Region. He was a member of the Kinderhook Sportsmen Club, and enjoyed fishing, shooting, gem cutting and photography. David is survived by his children, Scott Moran, Bonnie de Vries, and Gabriella Moran: and seven grandchildren.
