Diana Baccaro passed away August 23, 2012 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was born February 2, 1944 in NYC and was the daughter of the late John and Rose DeStefano Sirani. Diana is survived by her husband of 50 years, Nicholas, her children: Nicholas Jr. (Kelly) Baccaro; Dawn (Mark) Elbert; Kenneth (Christine) Baccaro and Brian (Kelli) Baccaro, her five grandchildren: Jennifer  and Jonathan Elbert, Madelyn, Jacob and Brandon Baccaro, her sisters: Frances (Forrest) Ellis and Florence (Melvin) Sweet, Her brother John (Joyce) Sirani, and several nieces and nephews. Diana was employed as a teacher's assistant at Chatham High School for 25 years until her retirement. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 27th at 10am in St. James church. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Ghent, NY.
