Edward Brill

It is with a heavy heart and so much love that we said goodbye to Edward Brill on May 19th. Born August 10, 1950 in Pittsfield, MA he was the son of the late Henry J. and Antoinette Gaal Brill.

He will always be remembered as such a loving husband, amazing dad, wonderfully goofy Grampy and a genuine friend. His love of life, off color jokes and absolute love and support are just a few of the amazing qualities and memories that we will hold close to our hearts. We have seen him fight so hard over the years for his health; always with a positive attitude, a spark for life and a joke to lighten the mood. He was loved by the community who will never forget that glint in his eye and his sly knowing grin at church events, clam bakes and while mingling around town. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and the outdoors, as well as regular trips to his favorite ocean destination of Maine. He was surely one of a kind and will be forever in our hearts.

Ed is survived by his wife Cheryl Collins Brill, daughter Kristy Bowen, granddaughters Skylar, Dakota and Harper, and the members of the Collins and Boesse families.

Services will be held at the East Chatham Methodist Church on Sunday June 9th at 1pm, with Celebration of Life gathering at his Daughter's residence at 345 Bashford Rd, Valatie NY from 3-7pm. Donations in his honor to be made to the East Chatham Methodist Church. Condolences may be conveyed at frenchblasl.com
