Eliezer "Rocky" Dominguez , of Chatham, passed away on June 20, 2014 at Albany Medical Center. Born August 5, 1981 in San Juan Puerto Rico, he was the son of Eliezer and Ivette Valentin Dominguez.
Rocky spent his early years in Puerto Rico moving to Florida when he was thirteen. Considered as a son he lived with his care takers Miguel Ramos and Mario Rodriguez. He was educated in Florida and became a CNA. While working at a Rehab Ccenter in Orlando he met his future wife, Danielle, who was a nurse there.He became a father and husband in 2008.
In 2010 he moved to Chatham, New York with his family. Eli began working at whittier Nursing and Rehab in Ghent while pursuing his nursing career. He was a graduate of Questar LPN program. receiving a leadership award as well as his license in 2011. Eliezer continued his work as an LPN at Whittier. Rocky loved his work and his patients and is known for his infectious smile and compassionate nature.
In 2013 he became a father again to a son, Benicio Dominguez.
His passion was playing paint ball winning a world cupl championship with team Strange in 2000 in Orlando Florida. He also enjoyed recreational sports. He loved his family most of all and spent all his spare time with them.
He is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Sullivan, his daughter Eliana and son, Benicio, his mother Ivette Dominguez, his brother, Carlos, sisters, Norma and Dhanna, nieces, nephews, cousins and his life long friend Courtney Gaines.
