Elizabeth (AKA Judy) Fielder, 72 of Elizaville passed away March 19th, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her family.

Judy was known for her kindness and gentle personality and a smile that would light up a room.

Judy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Cameron Fielder, her son Joseph Murell Sr.(and Bonnie), the joy of her life, Joseph Murell Jr.(and Rielee). Her sisters, Kathy DeBacco, Michelle(Brian) Duffy, Georgette(Patsy) Franze. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Hoover, her sister Elanor Steinke, her grandmother Ella Garrison, her father George DeBacco, and her sister Candace Drapala, whom she never got a chance to meet.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at M. Grimaldi Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham. Elizabeth's burial will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, in Saratoga. Those wishing to attend the burial are asked to arrive at the cemetery no earlier than 10:45 A.M. and please utilize the parking on the left until the procession arrives. A Celebration of life will be at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter.
