Emily Forrest passed away peacefully on March 10 , 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospice. She was born October 17, 1949 in New York City.  Emily spent many years in Wassaic, New York before moving to Valatie about a year and a half ago. She was a quiet lady that enjoyed her music and her care givers. There will be a calling hour Monday March 15, 2010 at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, from 11  to noon with a prayer service following. Interment will be at the New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
