Even after retiring, Gary's work ethic remained unwavering as he quickly took a position at Chatham Auto Parts, where he worked until his passing.
Gary's contributions extended beyond his professional life. He was a cherished member of the Canaan Conservation Club and the Stuyvesant Falls Veterans of Foreign Wars. Those close to him fondly remember his time coaching the East Chatham Little League, where under his leadership they had the only undefeated season in the team's history—a testament to his commitment and passion for nurturing young talents.
