Geraldine A Casterella or Mickey as her granddaughter Alissa has called her since she could talk passed away on Monday July 15,2024. After a 3-year courageous battle with brain cancer. She never complained, always had a positive attitude, smile on her face and said "It is what it is"

Geraldine had a fierce love for her family. She leaves behind her two children John Casterella Jr of Nassau, NY, Denise Casterella of Pittsfield, MA. She also leaves her two grandchildren Joshua Casterella of Lebanon, NY, and the Apple of her eye Alissa Rose Schettini of Pittsfield, MA. Her twin brother Gerald Robb (wife Tess Robb), her sister Patrica Haupt, and brother Charles Robb (wife Roberta Robb).

Geraldine was born in Yonkers, NY December 13, 1948 to the late Charles and Louise Robb. Her husband of fifty-four years John Casterella Sr. Who passed suddenly January 1, 2024. Her two sisters Diane McGuire, and Barbara Goodrich.

Geraldine aka Mickey loved being with her granddaughter Alissa they had a special bond and were always together.

She loved going to dinner and the casino with her good friends Ann and Gary Davis of East Chatham, she also leaves her best friend Donna Florio of Hudson, NY they loved to go shopping and have a bite to eat and their laughs were contagious. She also loved working for her good friend Carolyn Gregory at her flower shop and Carolyn's restaurant on Main Street Chatham.

She loved to do gardening, read a good book, and enjoy the change of seasons.

A celebration of life for Geraldine and John Casterella will be on August 18,2024 at 12:30pm at their daughter Denise's

house 23 Westminster Street Pittsfield, MA 01201
