Grace Marie Tessitore on March 2nd. at Columbia Memorial Hospital.  Born August 6, 1924 in the Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Marianna Adamo DellGrottaglia. Grace was educated at PS 89 and Christopher Columbus HS. She later met her husband and they were married June 1, 1946 at St. Lucy's church in the Bronx. They would move to Spencertown, NY a short time later. Grace was very active at Saint James Church as a former member of the Altar Rosary Society and having had taught religious instruction there for over 36 years. Her interests after church were her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Michael Sr., her granddaughter Stephanie Lynn, her sisters; Rose Vieni, Angelina Vieni, Josephine Hess, Antoinette DiMuro and her brother Frank Grottaglia. She is survived by her daughter Antoinette (Edward) Bratton of Hudson,  her sons;  Michael Jr. (Peggy) and Cosimo (Shari) both of Spencertown, Her grandchildren; Mike, Matt, Brittany and Brandon Tessitore and Edward Bratton Jr.,  her brother Albert (Karen) DellGrottaglia of Tucson, AZ and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 4 from 4 to 8 pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham. Religious services will be Thursday at 11am at Saint James Church; interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
