Harold B. Craver Sr.

Harold B. Craver Sr. died on August 13, 2016 at home. Born, September 5, 1942, in Hudson, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Frances Albright Craver. He was married 54 years to his beloved wife, Josephine, who passed last December. He was a life time member of the Philmont Rod and Gun Club and a member of Philmont American Legion. An avid sports fan Harold loved the outdoors as well. He spent many hours hunting, fishing and trapping. Harold is survived by his children; Frances (Paul) Koch, Josephine (David) Zahn, Harold Jr., Allene (Edward) McGee and Zachary (Jackie) Craver, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and his brother Clayton (Joan) Craver. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18th from 11 to 1pm at the French Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham where services will be conducted at 1pm. Interment will follow at the Mellenville Union Cemetery. Contributions in Harold's name may be made to the Philmont Rod and Gun Club, condolences may be conveyed at frenchblasl.com.
