Helen E. Golden

Helen E. Golden of Chatham passed away on January 28, 2018 at the Grand at Barnwell. She was born March 2, 1927 in Hudson, NY and was the daughter of the late Enos and Ninabelle Behren Wilber. She was a long-time member of the Ghent VFW lady's auxiliary and an avid bowler and golfer. She loved her family, especially her 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband Harold "Babe" Golden, daughters: Roberta Rose and Bonnie Lowheit, sister: Jean brothers: George and Alan Wilber and grandson: John Swartz She is survived by: grand children: Donna Herbert (Thomas), Peggy Cedri, Michael Rose (Kelly), Melissa Rose, and Jeramey Rose (Alyssa) son-in-law: Wayne Rose, great grandchildren: Cindy, Julia, Michael Jr., Matthew, Kacey, Emily, Charles, Jennifer, Amelia, Eliza, Adrienne, Jacqueline and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31st. from 3 to 5pm.
