Henry Gene Daley, age 68 passed away at his home in Philmont, NY on March 31, 2018. Gene was born on April 7, 1949 in Mahopac, NY to Raymond Crawford Daley and his wife Julia Lee Daley. He was the second oldest of eight children. That included Linda (Vicky Jo) Benson, Nancy Daley, Raymond W. Daley, Loretta Daley, Glenn A. Daley (deceased), Susan Daley, and Daniel R. Daley. He is survived by his daughters Sharon M. Ostrander, Lisa R. Daley, and Cindy L. Daley, as well as two grand daughters Kimberly Ostrander and Stephanie Sweet. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Gene was a retired Marine that was very dedicated to the armed forces and his church Word and Faith Ministries. He was very giving of his time to help his friends and family. Gene will be remembered for his big heart and personality — you always knew when Gene was in the room — as well as his ever-present sense of humor. He loved his family more than anything.
