Herman Gumprecht aged 95 of Martindale died October 15, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 23, 1922 he was the son of the late Carl and Ruth Gumprecht. He graduated from Roe-Jan Central School where he excelled in football and baseball. He was married to Kathryn Simmons on August 14, 1943. He worked at Lorbrook Corp until he retired in 1987. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Kathy (Joseph) Snyder of Cicero, NY, a son Gary (Deborah) Gumprecht of Ghent, NY, Grandson David Snyder of Bridgeport, NY, granddaughters Dawn Armstrong of Cicero, NY and Amanda Earl of Claverack, NY, step grandchildren Edward Upright of Philmont, NY and Kelly Upright of Rhinebeck, NY and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his sister Shirley Brown.
