Horace "Gene" Hills, 90, of Chatham passed away Friday, January 13, 2023. Born February 5,1932 in Gaylordsville, Ct. he was the son of the late Ruby (Hall) and Newton Hills.

He served four years in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956, Stationed in Korea and Japan.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Bowman), his five daughters, Wanda McGrath, Twins, Wendy (Richard) Lindmark, Deborah Pottenburgh, Nancy Miles and Karen (Kevin) Marchetto, his grandchildren, Matthew and Meghan Pottenburgh, Andrew Lindmark, James

Schlegel, and Twins, Anna and John Miles, his brothers, Robert, Gordon and Donald Hills, brother-in-law Paul Koch and sister-in-law Elaine Hills and many nieces and nephews.

Gene is predeceased by his brothers Stanley, Richard and Charles, his sisters Gladys, Ethel and Anita, and his nieces Ginny, Patty and Lee Ann.
