Janace (Jennie) B. Seagroatt of Ghent died on May 21, 2018 at Pine Haven Nursing Home. Born in 1936 in the Township of Ghent, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Sienkiewicz) Borovich. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-laws, John & Jamie Seagroatt of Hillsdale, NY and Donald & Terri Seagroatt of Beaver, PA. She is also survived by two grandsons, Thomas & Sarah(Heine) Seagroatt of Fayetteville, NC and Alexander Seagroatt of Beaver, PA. Her husband, Howard Seagroatt passed away in 1980. Three older brothers, Stanley, Ted and Henry Borovich died previously. Her twin brother, John Borovich Jr. died in 1996. She and her family wished to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff and volunteers of the Meals on Wheels Program and the Healthcare Consortium, the caring staff of Pine Haven Nursing Home and the Chatham Rescue Squad who were always there when she needed them. Arrangements are with the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home in Chatham, NY. Family and friends will gather at the Ghent Union Cemetery at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 23 for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Meals on Wheels Program, the Healthcare Consortium or the Chatham Rescue Squad would be deeply appreciated.
