Jean C. Wagner, 76, of Southington, CT peacefully passed away on Tuesday, (January 3, 2012) at home, with her family by her side. Jean was born on October 17, 1935 in Waterbury, CT to the late James and Carmela (Tortora) Bredice. Jean was an artist whose work was admired by galleries in Connecticut. She loved the ocean, art, music and dance. Her family meant the world to her. Jean was predeceased by her husband Gerald Wagner of Southington. She leaves her children Victor Mete, Donna Mete, Janet Catucci and David Wagner, along with sister Carole Aronheim and brother James Bredice. Jean leaves her two grandchildren Christopher and Justin Catucci. Calling hours will be at DellaVecchis Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington, CT at noon with a service at 1:30pm on Friday January 6, 2012. Arrangements are under the supervision of the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, NY.
