Joyce Goldstein of Chatham, NY passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born on June 10, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edward and Bertha Gertzman. Joyce is predeceased by her devoted husband of 62 years, Sidney D. Goldstein.

Joyce received her masters degree from Syracuse University and went on to be a respected member of the art community. As a passionate artist and gallerist, she founded The Joyce Goldstein Gallery in New York City in 1992 and then in Chatham, NY in 2005. Joyce was known by her family and friends as a fierce, strong and independent woman who made an impact on everyone who knew her. Joyce's favorite place to be was in her gallery, surrounded by artwork and her local community. She is remembered fondly by her friends and colleagues in the art community for her long standing devotion to the arts.

Joyce is survived by her daughters Jill (Michael), Nina (Jason), her grandchildren, Jordan, Summer, Stone, Jaxon, Jason, Jameson and Brandon, her sister Karen and her cousin Adele.
