Obituary

Kent David Kisselbrack, 45,died suddenly at his home in Saratoga, NY, on February 22, 2007. Born January 16, 1962 in Hudson, NY, he attended and was a member of the Chatham graduating class of 1980.  He was the beloved son of David and Karen Kisselbrack of Ghent, NY. He is also survived by his three adoring sisters and their spouses, Jodi (George Jr.) Lagonia of Spencertown, NY, Wendy (Gerald) Niles of Chatham, NY, and Heidi (Philip) Haner of Ghent; Grandfather Richard I. Lavery; three nephews, Parker Niles, Tanner Niles and Brycen Haner; three nieces, Tylor Smith, Casey Smith and Skyler Niles and several aunts and uncles. He was pre deceased by his grandparents, Myron and Irene Coons and Dorothy and Herb Meicht. Kent attended both SUNY at Geneseo and Oswego.  He later obtained a masters degree in Communications and Journalism from SUNY Albany. He enjoyed many types of activities especially Scuba diving and scuba photography, he enjoyed reading, loved playing golf and skiing especially in Europe.   Kent served eleven years in the U.S. Army.  He was employed as Director Public Affairs, Division of Military and Naval Affairs. Family will receive friends on Monday February 26 at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, NY, from 5 to 8pm. A religious service celebrated by Rev. Gary Gelfenbien of Saint James Church, will follow at the funeral home.  Interment in Saratoga National Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
