The heavens opened their arms on November 29, 2016 and welcomed home Leonard W. Wilson 82 of Ghent, NY. He passed away peacefully surrounded by the loves of his life; his beloved wife of 61 years Barbara, his son Leonard (Sallie) and his daughter Terry (Gary). Leonard is survived by his four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two daughters, Roxanne and Diane. Leonard served as a Marine in the armed forces, drove tractor trailer and worked construction. He was an avid NASCAR fan, camper and motorcyclist. But,.. in Leonard's words "My greatest accomplishments were my family". Bop will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends on Sunday December 4th at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home at 1pm, a memorial service will be conducted at 2pm. Interment will follow at Ghent Union Cemetery.
