Louis Albert Kolonics Jr. passed away October 22, 2023. Born October 31, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Louis and Camela Torcia Kolonics.
A graduate of East Bushwick High School, Louis went on to become a plumber and worked for the union.
He would move to Canaan, NY in 1977 and have his own plumbing business. Louis was a member and past Grand Knight of the Council at Immaculate Conception Church. He also was a member of the Canaan Conservation Club and the Berkshire Beagle Club. He
enjoyed all types of hunting and fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman. A Brooklyn boy he loved the Dodgers and was heartbroken when they left Ebbets Field.
Louis is survived by his wife Rosalie Zuccaro Kolonics, his daughter Rosalie (Al) Cervini, his son Stephen (Alison) and family, grandchildren Louis, Evan, and Jasmine Kolonics and Hailey Cervini, great grandchildren, Skyann, Lilyann and Louis Kolonics, sister Elizabeth Maggio and family.
He was pre deceased by his son Louis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in New Lebanon on Saturday, October 28th at 10am.
