Lyn Dee Laurange, 51, a lifelong resident of Chatham, NY passed away suddenly at Columbia Memorial Hospital Hospice on March 12, 2011. Lyn was the daughter of the late Clifford and Grace Laurange of Chatham. She is survived by her brothers, David and Rodney of Stuyvesant Falls, NY, Kevin of Pomona Park, FLA, Terry of Chatham, NY and Scott of Chatham Center; her sister, Tami Slovak of Valatie, NY; her son, Robert Blair Clifford Gordon of Watertown, NY; her sister-in-law Linda Laurange of Chatham, NY; her long time companion Stephen Carr of Chatham, NY; her dear friend Chris Bortugno III, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Ricky and her sisters, Cheryl, Sharon and Rhonda. Lyn was an avid animal lover and spent many years as a dog trainer/rescuer and leaves behind her precious therapeutic canine Gizmo. A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, March 17th from 6-8 pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home in Chatham.
