Martha L. Flaig, of Chatham, passed away November 14, 2012 at Albany Medical Center. Born June 23, 1922 In DeRuyter, NY, she was the daughter of the late David and Ruth Ames Warren. She is survived by her daughters: Claudia Kuzmiak of Chatham, Chris Benton of Chatham and Susan Attendorn of Schoharie, her 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, along with her nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husbands James Hinds and Jack Flaig, her daughter, Patricia Flaig, son , Michael L. Flaig and her sister Esther Merchant. Martha was a momma biker, loving motorcycles, having had her own and had been a member of a motorcycle club with her late husband. She was an active member of her church and loved her family most of all. Family will receive friends at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, Friday, November 16th from 6 to 7:30pm. A religious service will follow at 7:30.
