Mary F. Karwowski of Chatham, NY (formerly of East Meadow, NY) died March 27, 2009. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kazimierz (Casey). Devoted and loving mother to John, of Chatham and Paul and Linda, of East Meadow, NY. Loving grandmother of Michelle. Cherished Aunt to Lee Haliniewski and Lynn Baker of Union, NJ. Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Mary was a homemaker for most her life, and upon retirement moved to Chatham, NY with her husband.   The family will receive friends, Monday 7-9PM at the French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Ave., Chatham. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday by the Reverend Gary Gelfenbien at 10am in Saint James Church. Interment will follow at the Red Rock Cemetery.   Contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to The Community Hospice Foundation in her memory.
