Mary Patrice Reardon went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2011.
Born on February 17, 1955 she was the daughter of Kathryn Reardon of New Mexico, and the late Thomas Reardon. She is survived by three brothers; Thomas (Jan) Reardon of Iowa, Timothy (Kay) Reardon of New Mexico and Gerard Reardon of Hudson, two sisters; Katherine (Wendell) Cook of Hudson and Colleen Klose of New Mexico, nieces and nephews; Jessica Dinger and Cassandra Reardon, Melissa and Michael Pollack, Erin Cook Bornt, Caitlin and Sean Reardon, Lauren, Thomas and Zachary Klose, and Matthew, Shannon and Samantha Reardon. She was predeceased by her nephew David Reardon. She was their "Crazy Aunt Mary". She also leaves behind her beloved canine companions, Max and Hercules.
Mary graduated from Hudson High School, State University College at Buffalo and SUNY Albany. Mary worked for Belvedere, Inc. of Albany as a behavior specialist working with survivors of traumatic brain injuries. Prior to that, she was employed at Residential Opportunities, Inc/Center for Disability Services.
Mary was active in many local organizations including the MacHaydn Theatre, Upstage Productions, The Ghent Playhouse, Coarc, Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and St. James Parish.
Family will receive friends on Monday May 23rd from 5 to 8 pm at the Saint James Church in Chatham. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated there on Tuesday at 10am.
