Maureen S. Arsenault, of Hudson, died May 23rd at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born November 8, 1939 in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank H. Watson of New Milford, NJ and the late Florence C. Nesbitt of Chatham, NY. Maureen worked for many years as a waitress in this area and retired in 2006 after 15 years as a pharmacy technician for Fays/Eckerd Drug Stores. She was a 1957 graduate of Chatham High School, and enjoyed reading, pet animals & travel. She loved the Christmas season and snow. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Arsenault of Hudson, her five children; Tracy Larkin-Thomason (husband Jeff) of Silver Springs, NV, Michael Steven Larkin (wife Diana) also of Silver Springs, David L. Larkin (wife Patti) of Stottville, NY, Billi Jo Harder Buckles (husband Mike) of Houston, TX and Ami Jesmer White (husband Kevin) of Cherry Hill, NJ, three stepsons; Robert C. Arsenault of Red Hook, Brett Arsenault of Catskill and Mike Arsenault (life partner Christine) of Rhinebeck, two brothers, Edward J. Nesbitt (wife Linda) of Chatham, NY and Richard A. Nesbitt Sr (wife Loraine) of Austerlitz, NY, her sister Carole Watson DeSantis (husband Gene) of New Milford, NJ, ten grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, one step great grand daughter, one great grandson and one great grand daughter, five nephews and their families; Richard Nesbitt Jr. of Austerlitz, Brian Nesbitt of CA, Edward Nesbitt of upstate NY, Daniel Nesbitt of Chatham and Michael Nesbitt of Ghent. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter and Blasl funeral home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham., a religious service will take place during the evening hours. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Columbia Greene Humane Society or Animalkind Inc. of Hudson.
