Chatham-Michael Palmer Westover died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at his home. Born July 10, 1950, he was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed by Main Care Energy. The son of Palmer J Westover, currently of Albuquerque, NM and the late Florence Westover, he is survived by his life partner Cynthia Tunis; children Amy Tunis and Michael Tunis; granddaughter Kristen Tunis all of Chatham; one sister Jeanne (Richard) Tokarski of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers Gary (Patricia) Westover of Niverville and Jeffry (Gennifer) Westover of Ghent and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 from 6-8 pm at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham NY.
