IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Milagros
Rosa
November 4, 1956 – October 31, 2022
It is with great sadness that the Hillis Terrace IRA and Noxon Day Program teams announce the passing of Milagros "Millie" Rosa.
Millie was born November 4, 1956 in New York City where she resided until she moved to Wassaic State School in 1970. She resided at Carver Hall until she moved to Wayne Drive IRA in 1996. She lived there for many years until she moved to the Hillis Terrace IRA in 2018. Millie also attended the Noxon Day Program for many years. She was a playful, affectionate lady who quickly won the heart of anyone who met her. Millie loved dancing to music, helping with groceries and cooking; she was especially fond of desserts like chocolate pudding and loved colorful stickers. She could also clearly let you know when she did not like something and had a stubbornness that was both fierce and endearing. Millie struggled with health issues over the past several months and found resting peace on 10/31/22, just a few days before her 66th birthday. She will be greatly missed by all those who worked with her, but joyful memories of her life and infectious smile remain.
There will be a graveside service Tuesday, November 8th at noon at the Valley View Cemetery, Dover Plains, New York. Condolences may be conveyed at frenchblasl.com
