Patricia Ann Bates , September 12, 1938 - August 14, 2022. Patricia died peacefully at home at the age of 83 with her daughter by her side. Patricia is survived by her daughter Michelle Bruessard, Edward her son-in-law and her grandchildren Alexander Jr., Jerry and Janae. Along with her surviving siblings and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and some great great nieces and nephews. Patricia made Chatham NY her permanent residence in 1962. She was a NY State employee for over 30 years and retired at the age of 56. She also served as a Mom and Grandmother to so many in the family. Mama P had so many special people she held close in her heart. She was smart, funny, witty, down to earth and always helped her family in any way she could, yes she saved many of us. She was a marvelous cook and she was serious about her gambling. She truly loved her entire family and was loved by so many others in the Village of Chatham NY. She is finally at peace and is up in Heaven with the rest of her family and friends that she loved.
