Patricia Rivenburgh, 86, of Chatham, NY passed away peacefully at Greene Meadows Rehabilitation Center in Catskill on July 9, 2022. Patty, as she was known, was born on Sept. 28, 1935 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of Betty and Ken West. Patty was predeceased by her loving husband Fred Rivenburgh and beloved dog Tessa. She is survived by sons Reid (and Cecilia) of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Neil (and Rumiko) of Lawrenceville, Georgia and granddaughter Sarah, also of Georgia; companion Greg Pickens of Chatham; siblings Barbara (and Ray) Ranzoni of North Adams, MA; Dean (and Mary) West of Chatham; and Donna (and Tom) Packet of Chatham. Patty graduated from Chatham High. As a young woman, she worked as a telephone operator and at Travelers Insurance, and then she was a full-time homemaker and loving wife and parent. She had a good life and enjoyed her family and friends in Columbia County. She will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be private. Condolences may be conveyed at frenchblasl.com.
