Paul J. Davis, Jr., 64, of Manchester, CT, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Flaum) Davis for 41 special years.

Born on February 25, 1959, in Hudson, NY, he was the son of Shirley (Gagnon) Davis and the late Paul J. Davis, Sr.

Paul grew up in Chatham, NY, attended Riverside School of Aeronautics, Utica, NY and moved to CT where he worked for Pratt & Whitney for over 40 years. He made amazing friendships and was able to travel the world working on jet engines, a passion he loved. Paul was a volunteer firefighter in the 80's and 90's. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching golf and football on TV, the Jets being his all-time favorite team. Most of all, he was a very caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend who would be there for those he loved.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Leonowicz and husband Jeffrey and their four children, Zachary, Jeffrey, Jr., Dominic, and Abigail, Melissa Davis and fiancée, Miguel Rivera and their son, Sebastian. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Simpkins and husband, Gary, niece, Audrey Kupsch, and nephew, Aaron Simpkins, and numerous family and friends.

A special thank you to the UPENN lung transplant team for giving Paul several more years to spend with his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for both Paul, Senior and Junior, at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, 25 Railroad Avenue, Chatham, NY, on April 6th from 10:30 to 11:30am, with prayers at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Paul Jr. can be made to The Gift of Life, 401 Callowhill St., Philadelphia, PA 19123. Donations in memory of Paul Sr. can be made to the Valatie Rescue Squad or the Chatham Rescue Squad.
