Peggyann Antonecchia (Fornander). passed away at her home in Kinderhook, N.Y. at the age of 70 on December 25, 2019. Born in Rye, NY she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Oscar Fornander. Peggy's radiant smile could be seen at the age of 5 when she was pictured in Better Homes & Gardens and Good Housekeeping magazines. She later traveled the world as a flight attendant for Overseas National Airways. She loved to share stories from her time flying. She would want to be most remembered for putting others before herself, her warm demeaner and bright smile. She would go on to meet her husband Robert with whom she shared the same birthday and soon their anniversary with. After moving north of Westchester county, Peggy and Bob had two daughters (Jennifer- Rochester, N.Y.) and Alexis (Latham, N.Y.). She would later join the US Post Office like Bob and retire from there at the age of 65. Shortly after retirement, Peggy would enjoy the birth of her first grandchild, Katherine. Peggy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bob, daughters Jennifer (Kyle) Perillo and Alexis, granddaughter Kate, yellow Labrador Retrievers, Smith and Wesson, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Bruce Fornander. Calling hours will be January 4th at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home in Chatham from 1-3pm with remembrances at 2:30pm.
