Philip Pearlman, born January 15, 1933, unexpectedly passed away on September 6, 2008. He is survived by his loving family who will miss him deeply-- his wife Honey and his children, Josh Pearlman, Julie and Robert Meyers, Nina and Mitchel Yeckes, Rebecca and Jay Cohen and his grandchildren Carly, Jake, Samantha, Jessica, Matthew, Rachel, Michael, Eric, Brit and "little" Nina, as well as his sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma, Rose, Toby, Ellie and Bill, Jackie and Mitch and his nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Phil enjoyed life, the arts and sports and, while at Columbia University, he played basketball and had a "mean" rebound. Upon graduation in 1956, he began a family with Honey in Miami, Florida.
Philip was an accomplished architect who was a force in helping to develop the skyline of Miami and left his legacy and imprint on the landscape where he designed and built many religious, residential and commercial buildings in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
Phil, you were larger than life, always made us laugh and had an unmatched perseverance with everything in which you were involved, up to the very end. Phil, you will always be with us in our hearts.
