Richard H. Snow

Richard H. Snow Sr, 88 of Philmont passed away on November 21, 2023. He was born in Hillsdale, NY on September 1, 1935. He was the son of the late Robert and Wilhelmina (Van Dor Biesen) Snow. Richard is survived by children Rhonda, Veronica, Richard Jr., Scott, Shawn, Seth, and Gabriel. He is, also, survived by sisters Joan and Jeanetta. 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Richard was predeceased by his daughter Gail, brothers Robert and Louis, sisters Jennie and Nancy. Richard was well known for owning and operating an auto repair shop in the village of Philmont. He retired from COARC in Mellenville, where he worked as a transportation coordinator. Richard was a talented carpenter and an avid hunter. He, also, enjoyed being a ham radio operator where he connected with people all over the world. Burial services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
