Rita Quirrino

Rita Quirino of Edgewood Acres, Chatham, NY passed away on 5/9/2022. She was born in Hudson, NY on May 25, 1954, the daughter of the late Thomas Quirino and Angeline Terracciano Quirino. She is survived by her sister Barbara Hoy (David); brothers Thomas Quirino (Phyllis) and David Quirino; nieces Julie Hoy and Katie Hoy Dooley (Corey) and Tara Kenhart (Nick) and nephew Dan Quirino (Angela). Rita was a graduate of Chatham Central High School. She was employed by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance as an Income Tax Technician until her retirement. Rita loved buying scratch-off tickets and going to the casino and having breakfast at the Whitestone Café with the morning regulars Family will receive friends on Thursday May 12, 2022 from 4-7 at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasi Funeral Home in Chatham, NY. Services will be held 10:00 am on Friday May 13, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. Contributions in Rita's name can be made to the Chatham Rescue Squad or any charity of your choice.
