Robert Gross of Chatham, NY, passed away August 29, 2020 at the Whittier Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center. Born November 26, 1926 in Chatham he was the son of the late Peter M. and Grace E. Bullis Gross. He served in the army and worked as a Field Support Agent for IBM. While working at IBM he summered at Kinderhook Lake and upon his retirement he moved back to Chatham. Bob was a lifetime member of the Chatham American Legion. He also loved to work on old televisions in his spare time. He was predeceased by his wife Julia in 2014. He is survived by his brother Peter of Green Bay, WI, several nieces and nephews and good friends here in Chatham. There will be calling hour on Friday September 4th from 10am at the French Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, with a mass of Christian Burial following at 11m at St. James Church.
