Robert R. Pirrone of New Concord, NY, passed away on June 10, 2014 at the Berkshire Medical Center. Born January 26, 1947 in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Angelo and Agatha Rea Pirrone. Robert joined the Coast Guard from high school, serving on the Cutter Half Moon.. During his tour of duty,from 1965 to 1969, he would also serve a year in Viet Nam. Robert and his wife moved to New Concord, NY in 1970. He opened  his stock broker and financial advisor business in Hudson at that time. Robert was a member of the New York Stock Exchange, the Italian American Club in Hudson and a two time past president of the Hudson Lions Club. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, fishing, boating and loved cooking. He is survived by his wife Linda Lobdell Pirrone, daughter, Yvette S. Pirrone, son, Matthew (Jolene) J. Pirrone, grandchildren, Berkeley, Ashley, Vidar, Marion Rose and Alex and his sister, Marie (Dennis) Beers. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Elise and his brother, Dennis. There will be a graveside service on Monday, June 16th at 1:30pm, at the Mountain View Cemetery in New Concord, New York.
