Ronald Gene Czajkowski, 44 of East Greenbush, NY died September 13, 2013 from injuries sustained from a fall at Thatcher Park. He was born January 26, 1969. Ronald graduated from Chatham High School in 1988. He also attended Columbia HS, Maple Hill HS and CBA, followed by Hudson Valley Community College. Ron played on the high school football team and was the president of his senior class. He was a member of the House of Praise Church in Castleton, NY.
Ron was a religious man, incredibly creative and artistic and was blessed with an amazing sense of humor, which was only surpassed by his love of family and friends. He was totally devoted to his three children.
He was an avid writer and composed music as well as producing his own series of "Clown School" who's cast of characters consisted of his children, family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his son Cody, Daughter Taylor and son Dylan, his mom and step-father Joan and Bill Becker, his sister and brother-in-law Nichole and John Tooker, his nephew Tyler Tooker, and step sister Wanda Becker and girl friend Barbara Hannett, his grandmother, Gladys "care bear" Schermerhorn, his uncles George, Ken and Buddy Schermerhorn and his aunts Gloria Satter, Marcia Schermerhorn, Rita Akin and Peggy Myers and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Ronald Sr., grandparents Stanley and Alphia Czajkowski and grandfather Morton W. Schermerhorn.
Family will receive friends on Monday, September 16th at the French, Gifford, Preiter & Blasl Funeral Home, Chatham, NY, from 4pm to 7pm. A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17th at 11am at the House of Praise, 1688 Rt. 9 Castleton, NY.
